Media Auction Donor Overview
KTIA organizes an annual Media Auction event for all members as an opportunity for those participating to receive excellent marketing exposure in some of the state and nation’s top print and digital magazines and publications. The funds raised from the Media Auction help KTIA produce its many high-quality programs and conferences each year. This year's auction will take place through Handbid, an online bidding platform, which allows for quick and easy bidding and the ability to track standings and bids in real time.
Donor Benefits
As a donor, you will receive the following benefits:
- Extensive promotion of your donation to Kentucky’s tourism industry before, after and throughout the entire online auction process. Promotions include frequent reference in our weekly newsletters, our website and via social media.
- A description of the donated placement or service, logo and a description of the donating entity in the online auction catalogue.
- After the auction we will send you the names and contact information of everyone who bid on your item. These names of people who demonstrated an interest in purchasing your item represent excellent sales leads.
- Your participation will demonstrate to our 350 organizational members and 800 individual members your support of the Kentucky travel industry and the industry’s association.
Donation Specifics
- Your donation may take the form of a print or digital advertising placement, a service you would like to offer, and/or complimentary event registration.
- We are also open to new or different ideas regarding donations.
- We develop an online auction catalogue of donated items that the industry receives and that is posted on our website.
- KTIA members submit online bids via Handbid, an online bidding platform, throughout the auction period and the high bidder wins your item.
- KTIA will inform you of the winner whose responsibility it is to contact you to make arrangements regarding the purchase.
- You will receive the name and contact information of all bidders on your item.
