Kentucky Colleges & Universities Kentucky colleges and universities that offer tourism and hospitality programs are very much a part of Kentucky's vibrant travel & tourism industry. KTIA has undertaken an initiative to develop closer industry ties with our higher education partners. Included is an online directory of the institutions along with other services and opportunities for them and their students. Directory Below is a link to a directory containing all Kentucky colleges and universities with tourism and hospitality related programs. In addition to each institution’s program description and contacts, other directory information as applicable includes availability of interns, whether the institutions invite presentations from industry professionals and other services that are provided to the tourism industry. Conference Attendance
Students, faculty and administrators are invited to attend KTIA conferences. Students are encouraged to attend using a special, discounted rate and for faculty and administrators, registration is available at the regular member and non-member rates.
The 2026 Spring Travel Forum will take place in Hopkinsville from May 14-15, 2026 and the 2026 Kentucky Travel Industry Annual Conference will take place from November 11-13 in Lexington. Contact Sarah Brock for more information.

KTIA Membership
None of the opportunities noted above are dependent on an institution joining KTIA. Rather, they are all available whether you become a member or not.
