WHY KTIA

KTIA’s membership philosophy is that our members are both the association’s customers, as well as its owners. As our customers, KTIA is laser focused on service to members; and as KTIA’s owners, we are highly responsive to member input, feedback and guidance.

Our commitment to members is that we will work tirelessly to protect and promote your interests and to serve your needs, and along the way you will experience the KTIA culture – a blend of friendliness, professionalism and mutual support.

The KTIA membership consists of over 900 travel and tourism businesses and professionals from throughout the commonwealth and from every sector of the industry, including:

  • Convention & Visitors Bureaus/Tourist Commissions
  • Hotels
  • Marinas
  • Restaurants
  • Suppliers & Media
  • Tourism Agencies & Organizations (State & Local)

This list is not all-inclusive. For example, the attractions category includes the multitude of varied types of attractions found in Kentucky. Suffice it to say that if your business serves and/or markets to Kentucky visitors, there is a valuable place for you within KTIA’s membership.

An important feature of KTIA membership is that although annual dues are based on organizations, a member organization may at no additional cost enroll individuals (employees, board members, etc.) as affiliate members.
